The Supreme Court of Mongolia, the Judicial Academy, the Judicial General Council, and the U.S. Embassy are jointly organizing the first regional conference of Open World program alumni under the theme “Judicial Independence and Digitalization” on June 16–17, 2025, in Ulaanbaatar. The event is held in cooperation with the Congressional Office for International Leadership (COIL), an agency of the United States Congress that implements the Open World program in the judicial sector. Chief Judge G. Davaadorj will deliver a presentation titled “Cybersecurity: Risk and Responsibility.”
Open World local host coordinator, U.S. Federal Magistrate Judge for the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, and member of the International Judicial Relations Committee of the U.S. Judicial Conference, Suzanne Mitchell, will participate in the conference from the U.S. side. In addition, judges from Armenia, Estonia, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, and Serbia will attend the conference and exchange experiences on the following official topics:
