G. DAVAADORJ, CHIEF JUDGE OF THE CIVIL COURT OF THE CAPITAL, PARTICIPATED IN "LAWYERS FORUM-2024"

     The Mongolian Bar Association organized its fifth annual "Lawyers Forum" on April 18, 2024, under the slogan "Shutdown or Reform?" addressing "Issues and Reforms of the National Legal System."

     This traditional forum enhances lawyers' societal role, promotes professional skills, fosters professional pride, amplifies lawyers' voices, and facilitates policy discussions on issues affecting citizens' lives.

This year's discussions covered all legal branches:

     ●  Administrative law

     ●  Criminal law

     ●  Civil law

     ●  Legal reforms

     G. Davaadorj, Head of the Civil Law Committee and Chief Judge of the Capital City Civil Appeal Court, spoke on "Technology and Access to Justice." T. Mönkh-Erdene, Head of the Administrative Law Committee and Judge of the First Instance Administrative Court, presented "Reform of the Special Administrative Law Department" on behalf of judges.

     Over 300 lawyers participated in person and online, sharing recommendations that will be submitted to lawmakers, drafters, and law enforcers.
