"OPEN COURT" EVENT WAS ORGANIZED

12.1 of Article 12 of the Law on Courts of Mongolia states that "Court activities shall be transparent and open". "Open court" event was organized on October 18, 2023 in order to make court activities open and transparent to the public, and to get public opinions about court activities. 

At the event, the students of the "Erdemiin-Undraa" complex school of general education of the Capital and the students of the Law School of the National University of Mongolia were introduced to the court's activities and the court's environment.

G.Davaadorj, the Chief Judge of the Capital Civil Court of Appeal, and B. Zorig, the Chief Judge of the Capital Criminal Court of Appeal, participated in the event and answered the students' questions.

Judge E. Enebish of the Civil Court of Appeals of the capital gave information about the concept of judicial authority, and the head of the Department of Case Management G. Nyambayar and assistant judge Ch. Haliun presented the court process from receiving a case to its decision.

Students visited the courtroom and the judge's room and commented on how interesting it was to participate in the survey about court activities using QR codes. The Office of the Capital Court of Appeals will organize open court events on a wider scale in the future.
